1. Did you know that ...

Andrew McFarlane played “TOM” in three different movies/series?
He was Tom Cooper in “Break of Day”, Tom Callaghan in “The Flying Doctors” and Tom Sutton in “The Violent Earth”. He also was Tom in the theatre production "The Glass Menagerie".

2. Did you know that ...

Andrew McFarlane in the course of his career not only played Tom but also Geoff (“The Club”, theatre production), David (“Patrol Boat”) and Guy (“A Chorus of Disapproval”, theatre production).

3. Did you know that ...

Andrew McFarlane and Ingrid Mason played a married couple twice?
They were unhappily married as Beth and Tom Cooper in “Break of Day” and happily (but short) married as Anna and John Sullivan in “The Sullivans”.

4. Did you know that …

Andrew McFarlane and Lenore Smith were married?
After being only friends in “The Flying Doctors”, they were old lovers in “Talley's Folly” and in the stage production “Emerald City” they played a married couple.

5. Did you know that …

you can find pretty much everything on ebay? Well, you probably know. But I was very surprised to find this! I wouldn't mind receiving my mail in this envelope :-) It is a first day cover from 1981.

6. Why not cooking …

one of Andrew's favourite recipes? I found it in the "Keep the Flying Doctors Flying"-cookbook. I haven't tried it our yet. If you do, please let me know or just send me some of it!

7. Did you know that ...

Andrew McFarlane and Jacinta Stapleton played together in the movie "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" (1988) before they acted together in The Flying Doctors (episode "Wilderness" in 1990)
They are also born on the same day (6 June) but Andrew is 28 years older than Jacinta.

8. Did you know that ...

Andrew McFarlane wears popular clothes that other actors are really keen on wearing them too? Here are a couple of pictures that prove that he left his shirts, at least three times, to other people in "The Flying Doctors". In the German version the man with the pink shirt (Jerry) even had the same dubbed voice as Tom Callaghan!
The last two pictures are taken from the series "All Saints". This time Andrew had to wear the pyjamas of the old bloke.

to have a cap like this? Well I do! This cap was signed by Andrew McFarlane and Liz Burch in March 2008 for the RFDS-Fanclub Germany. Thanks to Renate Kaldenhoff for the allowance to publish it on my fansite.

Andrew McFarlane played a politician in two different shows (1996 in the movie "Little White Lies" and 1999 in the series "Blue Heelers") and both times his name was "Mark".
