High hopes for Falls

FILMING has just finished on The Falls , a new telemovie for Ten that will hopefully spin off into a weekly laconic mystery series. It's set in the Blue Mountains and stars Georgie Parker, Catherine McClements, Geoff Morrell, Vince Colosimo and Andrew McFarlane.

It's particularly good to see McFarlane working, given that Nine is remaking all his former classic TV series without him: Sea Patrol is loosely based on the '70s ABC series Patrol Boat and '80s drama The Flying Doctors is getting a reality makeover with RFDS.

Surely McFarlane could be recruited to do the voiceover for the new Royal Flying Doctor Service factual series?
